In continuing efforts to make our processes more environmentally friendly we have replaced the lubrication used for our deep draw process.
The lube that we had been using contains acetone as a carrier agent. The lube produced significant packaging waste and required harsh cleaning chemicals for removal.
Our new lubrication is water based, allowing for easy clean up with only mild detergent, and does not produce odors. The application has also been streamlined to drastically reduce packaging waste.

Driving an effort to identify a superior lube that is safer for our operators, while reducing waste and need of harsh cleaners was a gratifying project. The impact will benefit this company, its employees and its customers moving forward.
